Paul Maurer Shows

“11years and growing”

In 1971 I started with only one game. I grew quite rapidly to owning and operating over 45 game concessions playing throughout the State of California and the West. In 1997, I was voted in as president of the Show Folks of America, which is a highly visible and prestige position in the amusement industry. In years past, I booked my games concessions into numerous fairs, such as: “The California State Fair and Exposition” (Sacramento),” The Del Mar Fair”, (Southern California Exposition), “The Orange County Fair”, The Los Angeles County Fair”, “The Tulsa Oklahoma State Fair” and many others. After observing and waiting many years for the opportunity of pursuing a life-long dream, I bought my first amusement ride in 1984. Since then, we have been growing by leaps and bounds to a much larger carnival show with now over 35 (and counting!) Amusement rides and attractions.

Paul Maurer Shows is known for its Unique, brightly painted Rides, its sparkling lights, colorful canvass, Aluminum framed games and the cleanliness and professionalism of its trained, uniformed management and staff personnel. With our newest and highest, state of the art amusement rides, our equipment, safety and employee policies reflects our strong and well deserved reputation for always opening an event on time, never missing an opening deadline. We have never placed undue pressure upon our employees to set up their rides. We are constantly reminding them to remain conscious of the safety procedures, and inspections, which is the highest priority during the set up and tear down periods. Our safety records have proven the above statements. We also take extra steps to ensure the continuous operation of all our rides during our events. We maintain and service our rides as per manufacture’s requirements on a daily and weekly maintenance schedule. Should any ride undergo the unexpected break down we generally have emergency spare parts on hand, ensuring a minimal down time. Our trained ride repair mechanics are solely dedicated to the ride maintenance and repair program of our show. Their efforts and understanding for the need of rides to operate safely and continuously have contributed to the success of Paul Maurer Shows.

Despite the experiences we have in the carnival business, we are constantly learning new ideas and better ways to serve our communities and committees to ensure successful fairs and festival events.
